i'm gonna say, do what you will with your art; you're the final say with what you've made. BUT personally, even though it's sometimes painful to look back on, it's also extremely inspiring. like, wow, i made something that bad, but now i make BETTER stuff and i know WHY those older pieces sucked. it can really be a great motivator. plus, it's fun to redraw old stuff that's still salvagable.
